Your Mission: As our Structural Engineer, you’ll be responsible for crafting engineering designs, performing thorough calculations, and producing comprehensive technical reports and specifications under the guidance of our CEO, Principal Engineer, and Senior Engineer.

Your Role:

  • Developing top-notch engineering designs and ensuring their verification.
  • Collaborating closely with our drafting team to bring designs to life.
  • Working within project budgets and schedules, always delivering quality work on time.
  • Engaging with clients professionally and efficiently.
  • Contributing to our culture of excellence by actively participating in team meetings and events.
  • Researching and implementing innovative engineering methods.
  • Upholding our company’s values and high standards of professionalism and integrity.

We’re Looking For:

  • A Civil Engineering degree holder with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • A proactive team player with strong communication skills and the ability to mentor others.
  • Commitment to excellence in design and problem-solving.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Masters in a related field.
  • Experience in maritime engineering or an engineering consulting company.
  • Certification as a Practicing Engineer (CPEng).

Senior Structural Drafter

Are you a seasoned Structural Drafter with a knack for precision and a passion for design? Our established engineering firm is actively seeking a Senior Structural Drafter to join our dynamic team. If you’re looking to apply your expert CAD skills and play a pivotal role in our engineering projects, this is your call to action!

Your Role: As a Senior Structural Drafter, you’ll be the mastermind behind the creation of intricate layouts, detailed assembly drawings, and comprehensive sketches. Your contributions will be the blueprint of our engineering excellence.

Who You’ll Work With: You’ll report directly to the CEO or Principal Engineer/Managing Director, following the lead of our Chief Draftsperson.

Your Impact:

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, accessible, and archived efficiently.

  • Advanced CAD qualifications and a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to mentor team members and foster client relationships.
