Shovona joined the Madsen Giersing team in November,2021 in the role of graduate structural engineer specializing in marine and bridge structures. After a highly successful career in academia, she relocated from Bangladesh to the sunshine state to further her studies. She is currently finalizing her PhD in structural engineering at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She is also a graduate of Constructionarium Australia’s All Female Story bridge Program, 2021.

Fascinated with massive structures, Shovona is working with the team in the design, development, and delivery of variety of infrastructure projects involving Wharves, jetties, and temporary structures.
